Hoodlums (Necrobie subtype)

Hoodlum

Hoodlums are a subspecies of Necrobies which deals with wanting to be different from who you are. They have 2 forms; form 1 is their "birth" form, while form 2 is the form they take when their hood comes up and their mask comes on.  Hoodlums are often unsatisfied with who they are; this can be a positive, negative, or neutral issue that drives the Bie to want to change on birth, or to reject their 'base' emotion. Hoodlums used to be seen as a negative group, but positive Hoodlums have recently appeared, proving that desires for change and growth can be positively inspired, too.

Hoodlums come with specific traits such as:

  • A Jacket, though this jacket may be a hoodie or a poncho or any sort of jacket/overcoat.  It must have some type of arm coverage and a zipper in the middle around the opening.
  • Hoodlums come with a Decorated Cotton insides or Cotton + 1 object. There are no exceptions for standard Common-Mythic Hoodlums.
  • Hoodlums have a mask that is attatched to their hood and when they are not wearing it, it basically vanishes until it is put on. The mask may be full or partial face-covering, but they must have a mask of some kind.
  • Hoodlums have 2 forms. The Hood down which is the normal form, with the jacket sleeves rolled up and their face showing. The second form is the "Hood up" form. The magic allows the bie to change some of their traits. For instance with the hood down the Bie may have normal paws, and when the hood is put on the arms may change to Monster arms. However inside traits, face traits, and the jacket prints do not change. Neither does plush patterns, though colors may darken/lighten (i.e. dark red to lighter red, but not dark red to dark green).
